Innovative Europe Information Day
On November 30, 2022, “Horizon Europe” Georgia National Office and Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia organized an information day about Innovative Europe.
The event was held online and was attended by about 100 representatives of various organizations, including the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the European Commission, as well as international and local companies.
Deputy Head of Higher Education Development Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia Mr. Zaza Maruashvili and Head of the “Horizon Europe” Georgia National Office Ms. Nino Inasaridze, made a welcome speech.
The participants of the event were welcomed by the representative of the European Commission, Ms. Silvia Bozhinova, who spoke about the financing schemes and the main directions of innovative projects.
The speakers of the information meeting were: Matthias Wurch - Scientific Officer of the DLR Project Management Agency; Ana Goletiani - National Contact Point of Innovative Council and Innovative Ecosystems; Ani Vashakmadze - Head of Donor Relations and International Relations the Department of GITA; Irakli Lezhava - Founder and CEO of "Ensofy"; Oskar Salazar - Managing Director of EU Projects of the International Consulting Company "Euro-Funding" and Zviad Miminoshvili - National Contact Point, Direction Coordinator of “Horizon Europe” Georgia National Office.
