Horizon Europe Information Day at Ilia State University

 

On April 6, Ilia State University hosted an Information Day organized by the Horizon Europe National Office of Georgia. The primary objective of the session was to introduce researchers and academic personnel to the current opportunities available within the Horizon Europe framework.

National Contact Points (NCPs) of the Horizon Europe National Office of Georgia detailed the following areas:

🔹Clusters 5 and 6: Climate, Energy, and Mobility; Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment. Maka Zhorzholiani presented a comprehensive overview of the 2026 calls for proposals to the audience. During the presentation, particular emphasis was placed on the conditions for participation and current open calls.

🔹 Culture, Creativity, and Inclusive Society: Tamar Berberashvili discussed the opportunities available within Cluster 2.

The meeting proceeded in an interactive format, where attendees received detailed answers to their questions, including: mechanisms for joining international consortia, strategic approaches to partner search, and specific requirements for preparing successful project proposals.
