Matchmaking event - From Ideas to Impact: Emerging Health Technologies in Action - Nona Janikashvili
Within the framework of the NCP_WIDERA.NET travel grant, issued by the Horizon Europe National Office in Georgia, Nona Janikashvili, Professor at the Department of Immunology at Ken Walker International University, participated in the large-scale matchmaking event in Brussels on June 1-2: “From Ideas to Impact: Emerging Health Technologies in Action.” The event is held within the scope of the EU Mission on Cancer and the Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) priorities.
Nona Janikashvili delivered a pitch presentation to an international audience and leading European experts, focusing on creating an interoperable digital collaboration infrastructure for digital and precision health innovation. This initiative aims to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders, connecting Central Europe and widening countries to accelerate medical innovation, implement cross-border pilot projects, and ensure effective clinical implementation.
Following the presentation, bilateral meetings were held with representatives from various European universities, research centers, and organizations to discuss opportunities for future collaboration and the implementation of joint projects within the scope of Horizon Europe.
