COST Programme Information Session at Tbilisi State University
On September 23, Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University hosted an information session within the framework of the COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) funding program.
COST is a European funding scheme that enables researchers across Europe to share research visions, conduct joint research, and prepare collaborative research proposals for the future. Georgia has been a member of this funding framework since 2022, and numerous Georgian researchers already have hands-on experience participating in its various activities.
The session was led by the National Coordinator, Teona Maisuradze, who presented the program’s funding specifics and the funded thematic areas covered by these international research networks.
Grigol Giorgadze, a university professor and member of a winning project proposal team, also participated in the event. He shared his experience and discussed upcoming activities planned within the scope of the project.
