The EU-funded project NGI Sargasso, which strengthens partnerships between European, US and Canadian innovators and researchers, announces "Open Call #5" for applicants from EU Member States and Horizon Europe associated countries to co-create the future of the Internet.

The main challenges of the call are:

• Inclusive public digital spaces for engaging global communities;

• Improved data security and privacy from a transcontinental perspective;

• Cooperation and standardization across borders;

• New generation cyber security and generative AI;

• Open challenges.
