Successful R&I in Europe 2026 – 13th European Networking Event - Eka Paatashvili
On 19-20 February, in Düsseldorf, Germany, Eka Paatashvili, Assistant Professor at Ilia State University, participated in the brokerage event -Successful R&I in Europe 2026 – 13th European Networking Event.
Participating as a speaker representing the Health Cluster, Eka Paatashvili presented a pitch for the project concept: “From Innovation to Value: Identifying and Reducing Low-Value Care in Transforming Health Systems”.
The presentation addressed challenges related to the digital transformation of health systems and emphasised the need for a holistic governance approach to mitigate risks that digital technologies and AI tools may unintentionally create in fragmented healthcare environments, potentially affecting the quality and efficiency of service delivery
As part of the visit, meetings were held with state institutions, research organisations, and technological development hubs. The parties discussed future cooperation and collaboration within the Horizon Europe framework.
