Horizon Europe Information Day at Zugdidi State Univerity

On April 3, an Information Day was held for the academic staff and researchers of Zugdidi State University, organized by the Horizon Europe National Office of Georgia. The meeting aimed to introduce the opportunities available within the program.

The event highlighted key program directions and the 2026 call cycles:

🔹 Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Environment: Maka Zhorzholiani, National Contact Point, provided an in-depth review of Cluster 6 priorities and upcoming 2026 competitions;

🔹 Culture, Creativity, and Inclusive Society: Tamar Berberashvili, National Contact Point for Cluster 2, discussed the strategic objectives and activities within this pillar;

🔹 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA): Teona Maisuradze, National Contact Point for MSCA, presented opportunities regarding Postdoctoral Fellowships, Doctoral Networks, and joint doctoral programs.

The final part of the meeting featured an interactive discussion. Participants received practical recommendations and comprehensive answers to specific queries regarding their research interests.
