Horizon Europe Info Day at New Vision University

On April 30, New Vision University hosted a Horizon Europe Information Session. The event aimed to introduce the program's priorities and to operationalize the university's research and clinical strengths into tangible, international collaborative projects.

Opening remarks were delivered by the Rector, Prof. Giorgi Barkalaya, and the Head of the Horizon Europe National Office in Georgia, Levan Khetsuriani. The university’s vision and strategic priorities were presented by the Founder of NVU, Prof. David Kereselidze, and the Executive Manager of the Strategic Development and Internationalization Committee, Prof. Tinatin Gabrichidze.

National Contact Points (NCPs) provided a detailed overview of the program’s key pillars:

🔹 Excellent Science (ERC, MSCA);
🔹 Global Challenges (Health; Culture, Creativity & Inclusive Society; Green Transition);
🔹 Innovative Europe.

The second part of the session was dedicated to thematic breakout groups, where NVU academic staff and National Office experts consulted on project planning within specific clusters.
