Horizon Europe at ,,Enabling PV'' Forum: A Platform for Solar Energy and Renewable Innovation in South Caucasus and Central Asia
On October 3 and 4, 2024, Tbilisi hosted the first "Enabling PV" forum, organized by the European Renewable Energy Association "EUROSOLAR Georgia". This landmark event gathered stakeholders from the renewable energy sector to focus on solar energy, energy efficiency and sustainable development in the South Caucasus and Central Asia.
The forum aimed to foster knowledge sharing, networking and collaborative dialogue, with a particular emphasis on Photovoltaic (PV) technologies.
During the engaging panel discussions titled "The Role of Universities in the Development of the Solar Energy Industry in the Region" and "Joint Initiatives for the Transition to Green Energy", National Contact Points of the Georgian National Office of "Horizon Europe," Ana Goletiani and Maka Zhorzholiani, discussed the various competitions announced within the energy sector as part of the program, along with the support services and promotional initiatives that the National Office of Georgia offers to academia and businesses alike.
